INTRODUCTION

Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) is now taking applications from suitably qualified candidates for its undergraduate programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.

(OOU) is a private university located in a Ago, Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria. They offer a wide range of options for their undergraduate programmes across various faculties. 

These include Agriculture, Arts, Education, Engineering & Technology, Law, Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Pharmacy, Science, and Social & Management Sciences.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR OLABISI ONABANJO UNIVERSITY.

Post UTME

1. Candidates must have a minimum score of 160 in the 2025/2026 UTME Results.
2. Candidates who did not choose the University but possess a minimum score of 160 in the 2025/2026 UTME Results and are willing to change to the University as first choice BEFORE the PUTME registration. (Candidates will not be able to commence with PUTME registration without this)
3. Candidates who have duly uploaded their WASCE/NECO O’Level Results on the JAMB CAPS.
4. Candidates who have printed their 2025 UTME Result Slip.
5. Foreign candidates and candidates with disabilities are EXEMPTED from PUTME screening. 
6. Candidates who will not be at least 16 years of age by September 2025 need not apply!

Direct Entry

1. Candidates with ‘A’ Level/ OND/HND/NCE/A’LEVEL/JUPEB Results/Certificate or First Degree who had applied for Direct Entry Admission through JAMB into the University.
2. Candidates who possess Diploma certificate of the University and who had applied for Direct Entry admission through JAMB into the University.
3. Candidates must have duly uploaded their credentials including their O’Level Results on the JAMB CAPS.
4. Candidates with Diploma from other approved institutions with minimum of Upper Credit who had applied through JAMB for Direct Entry admission into the University.

HOW TO APPLY

The steps for application via Post UTME/DE into Olabisi Onabanjo University are as follows:

1. Each eligible candidate will pay then sum of ₦2,000.00 (two thousand naira only) for the screening exercise and administrative charges before proceeding with the registration process.
2. After making payment, candidate should visit the OOU Registration Website.
3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number to continue with your registration.
4. After completing the registration form online, print out your OOU PUTME Screening Pass one (1) week to your scheduled screening date.

PAYMENT METHOD

1. Candidates are expected to create a profile and pay online through the University’s PUTME portal.
2. Thereafter, generate a payment invoice which would be required before one can procced with the registration process

Each candidate should bring the following documents to the venue of the screening:

1. OOU PUTME Screening Pass
2. 2025 UTME Result Slip
