INTRODUCTION

Imo State University is now taking applications from suitably qualified candidates for its JUPEB programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The JUPEB program is an intensive coaching program designed to prepare candidates for direct entry admission into the 200-level of departments of candidate’s choice in Imo State University as well as over 90 universities in Nigeria and abroad that are affiliates of the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB).

It is a viable option for individuals who did not meet up with the JAMB cut-off score but still wish to pursue their desired course of study as they completely bypass the UTME exams.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The requirements to be admitted into the Imo State University JUPEB programme include the following:

You must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
These credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB.
The subject combination must be suitable for your intended course of study at the university level.

- Account Name: JUPEB/PREDEGREE (Ensure you add your name and NIN Number to transaction details).
Enter your NIN as your login after 48 hours of payment and then complete the application form that opens.
Visit the Centre for JUPEB and Foundation Studies with the following:
- 1 Printout of application form
- 1 copy of O’Level Result Printout(Awaiting result not acceptable)
- Passport photograph
- 1 copy of NIN printout
- Orignal copy of payment teller endorsed at the University Bursary.
